My RV

I don’t know about you but I LIVED for camping. I use to do what I called ‘wilderness’ camping which meant you were in a tent, in the middle of nowhere with a campfire and sometimes a propane stove. I loved it. Unfortunately those days are gone but my desire has not diminished – enter my adapted C class motor home.

I hired a local RV repair person to install a large door on the passenger side of the motor home. I then purchased a used Ricon lift system and had that installed as well.

This allows me to self load on my mobility device. It also makes for a great balcony on those starry nights.

Prior to installing the lift, I had the back area of the motor home remodeled, replacing the large bed with a smaller one so I had room to store my mobility devices, including tie downs to secure said devices.

This next picture is a view from the hallway just outside the bathroom, looking into the back area.

Again, lots of room to maneuver when on a mobility device. The nice thing about the C class motor home is, because of the interior configuration, you have a lot to hold onto as you make your way through the unit. So look out world, here I come!
